Jeanette Swan

Speech Pathologist

I have been a Speech Pathologist for over 20 years! As a result, I have met and learnt from many children and their families in a variety of settings.

My degree qualification is: Bachelor of Applied Science in Speech Pathology (1985) with distinction from Cumberland College of Health Sciences, NSW (now operating as part of Sydney University). Ongoing professional development is an important part of my practice and I regularly attend workshops and seminars, and read recent research.

I enjoy living on the Northern Beaches and appreciate the friendliness, community spirit, and natural environment of this beautiful area.

My Mission

To make Speech Pathology fun for the children with a unique program for each child.
To support parents in their coaching role cheering for their child’s effort and successes.
To equip parents to understand speech and language development and what they can do to support their child.
To provide paediatric Speech Pathology home visit services to families in my local area (part time).
To work with families, schools, preschools, and other relevant allied health and medical providers.
To make a difference in children’s communication.
